Rebecca graduated from Alfred University School of Art and Design in 1974. Majoring in sculpture, she studied under William Parry, John Wood, Val Cushing, and Bob Turner and began exploring line and form.

After graduating from college, Rebecca started working under the guidance of James Southard in Endwell, NY, learning the craft of being a bench jeweler. She has been working as a goldsmith in the Southern Tier of New York for the past 30 years.

Rebecca was also fortunate to have known Emil Milan, having been introduced after college by one of her high school art teachers, Isabel Parks. Emil's friendship and insights into the woodworking of natural forms continues to touch Rebecca's work today.

As an artist, Rebecca continues to explore the contrast of a line or a curve in order to achieve a balance of form.
